Yuri Shurygin, Executive Director of the Association of Small and Medium-Sized Exporters, commented for Russia’s leading weekly Expert the state’s initiative to support small and medium-sized exporters.
Government support on the regional level is one of the reasons behind exporting SMEs’ impressive current activity.
“In our view, regional centers are the most effective of all existing tools of support,” Shurygin said.
“It is a new culture of interaction between the state and private enterprise, because it is not just sitting and chatting over tea, but putting one’s back in earnest into assisting exporters.”
